A MARI  COCKTAILS

Mariposa means butterfly in Spanish. It's our variation on the classic Bee's Knees.

We chose this name because this is a light and summery cocktail, full of the joys of summer. Garnish with flowers and enjoy in the sunshine!

Recipe

In a shaker full of ice, mix:

2 tots A Mari Atlantic Ocean gin

3/4 tot Freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 tblsps Fynbos honey

Garnish: fresh flowers

Glass: Martini 

TAMARIND

​Tamarind is a Tamarind is a delicious, sweet fruit that has a wide variety of uses. It is a medium-sized bushy tree with evergreen leaves and fruit that develops in pods characterized by long, brown shells. Inside is a sticky, fleshy, juicy pulp, which is the tamarind fruit. It is both sweet and sour in taste, and adds a unique twist to this cocktail.

Recipe

In a shaker full of ice, mix:

2 tots A Mari Atlantic Ocean gin

1tbsp Tamarind syrup

1 shot ginger beer

Garnish: Dried orange segments

Glass: Sherry glass 

​The old classic, just better.

First you make a marinade from the ingredients, blend the horseradish, tabasco, citrus juices, tomato juice, celery salt, Siracha, mustard and a shot of A Mari. Let it stand overnight.

The next day you mix in the A Mari, garnish and serve. Voila.

The Mix

1 shot A Mari Ocean Gin

500mls  tomato juice

1/4 inch horshradish, chopped

1 tsp. Worcestershire

1 tsp. Chinese mustard

3-4 dashes Siracha

1/2 lime, fresh squeezed

1/2 lemon, fresh squeezed

dash of black pepper

dash of sea salt

dash of celery seeds
